This footage is from over a year ago.
Today it was reported these same surfers went back to Cortes Bank, surfed waves far bigger than these 60-foot monsters. I'll post the footage when i see it.

Mavericks -- the big wave contest held every year just south of San Francisco -- went off last week.
Footage here from POWERLINES PRODUCTIONS who were on hand to witness Mavericks and Ghost Tree during one of the largest swells to ever hit California.
